Nope, I haven't won another trip

Last year, I won a trip to Mexico to an all-inclusive 5 star resort. Yup. It's true. It really does happen. We bought extra plane tickets so we could bring the kids (kids stay free), and we paid for an extra week (because we're greedy!!! and it's the first week and the airfare that's expensive). We spent 2 glorious weeks there in September.

Now, the only problem with that is that I have started to believe that we should be winning trips every year. But nope, not this year. Not yet anyway.

So, I have been here, just not posting because it's been a bit hectic. I do some part time work for the local college in the continuing education for health care professionals. Remember I'm an IBCLC? So, it's all about boobs and breastfeeding. And September is the start of the new year - just like every other school. So there's been work.

And there's been some volunteer work I do for a non-profit. Meetings, and web updates (I'm the webmaster).

And then there's been the schedule which I posted before. The over-ambitious, likely to crash & burn, and cause a major 'what does it matter, and anyway they're learning all the time, and The Flintstones are SO educational' funk.

It's actually been OK. Totally struck out on Friday as I was on a conference call for a couple hours smack in the middle of the day. Not a single schooly item was accomplished. But the other days, about 75% of the stuff got done. Not bad, for the first week of easing ourselves into the new, crisp fall season.
