What's been making me smile
- Yarnstorm's collections of hand-sewn dolls, each with a biography. Do check them out. They're all in the Sewing category if you want to browse through the archives for more girls (& now one guy). I love these.
- On my shampoo bottle: "cheaper than more expensive brands!" I'm guessing this was written by people "dumber than more creative marketers". It's been fun coming up with all sorts of useless phrases. I'm taller than shorter people!
- Splashdown Park (see yesterday's entry). There is one little part which is not so fun - meeting strangers (totally new staff who are trying to score points by being nice to the CEO's wife) and semi-strangers (these would be people in Roo's office who I've met but can't remember their names or what the heck they do) in what is essentially socially sanctioned underwear, and wondering whether that shaving cut shows. But the rest of it - all fun. Big slides, fast slides, scary long Dark Hole slides, & screaming and laughing at the same time.

Yeesss...when they have to struggle that hard to come up with something good to say, I wonder.
I'm thinner than people who weigh more than I do!
