OK. This is getting gross. There is definitely something wrong. A couple of the chrysalids are oozing greenish black stuff. Another one looks like it's cracking open, but it's apparently empty inside.
I hate when this type of thing happens. The excitement, the anticipation.....all for nothing.
They must have become ill with something. I don't know how this happened. We were very careful with them, washed our hands thoroughly & I only have 2 kids here - not a class full.
I'll write to Northwest Scientific to ask for a refund.

Ours oozed before they emerged and then they fluttered and did pretty things....maybe it'll turn out.
