Another thing to worry about

"powerful strain of MRSA has been spreading among healthy people who have never been in hospital, first in the United States and now in Canada. Standard antibiotics don't seem to slow its ravages at all."

Briefly - a deadly superbug, resistant to antibiotics. You don't get in the hospital. You get it in your community.

Chicago is in the midst of an epidemic of this among the children. We all thought we were past having children die because of bacterial infections. Well, we are not.

Calgary is currently having an outbreak. It's mainly in immuno-compromised individuals but let's not kid ourselves that it will stay there.
