OMG... yes... love! We got to rat-sit this last week and now DD is begging for one. I told her the gerbil gets to live the rest of his natural life first, but I'll consider it. They are sweet.
They're so adorable! We can't have any as my cats would drive them to an early grave lurking outside their habitat and staring and yowling and stuff, but oh, such lovely and tempting little babies.
Okay, so now I remember where I saw this little guy. I had a dream where the neighbor's very small cat was chasing a very small mouse/rat...and this must have been the picture my brain stored :)

The top photo is so gorgeous. I'll bet they're growing fast and taking some keeping up with by now!
