Forgetting and Laughter

I’ve been forgetting all kinds of things.

Forgot to take Amelia to her synchronized swimming class. Twice this month.

Forgot a bunch of books and videos from the library. Ooops. Big fine.

Forgot to put the dog’s leash on one morning. Just started walking & it took me a while to figure out what was different.

Forgot to get my ring re-appraised for our new insurance policy.

Forgot to make car appointment.

Forgot to shave my left leg in the shower this morning.

And that’s just the ones I can remember at the moment. There are probably a whole bunch more which I’ve forgotten that I’ve forgotten.

So far I’ve remembered to do the important things. Food, clothes, kisses and laughter. Though come to think of it, I believe I've forgotten to do the kisses, cuddles and laughter as often as they need doing. Sigh. No wonder things haven't been that much fun.

I forget things all the time lately. If I don't *write it down* on the calendar, then it is out of the brain.
I'm hoping summer sun will refresh all those little brain cells...

Your post made me giggle, Hornblower!!!

I forgot to shave recently before putting on a pair of strappy Miu Mius and boarding the train. I realized this after many stares around the level of my legs. I thought they were admiring my pretty shoes. They, like me, were likely horrified by the tarantulas above the pretty shoes.
