Lucky, aka Lacey, has a very sad story she came to the SPCA as a stray with her friend. Her owner came and took Lucky's friend home and left her behind. She is now looking for a new forever home, she is 3 years old and has lived a terrible life and had several litters. She came in with a bad bladder infection which she is on medication for and has been spayed. This girl even with her bad bladder infection was so loving and affectionate and sweet. She has a wonderful temperment as I can't imagine the discomfort she was in and still craved attention and would paw or nudge you when you stopped patting her she just wanted more and more attention. She is good with other dogs, cats, and loves to meet new people she is just a sweetheart who has endured so much and is so forgiving of humans she truly deserves a new beginning and a loving home, come meet this beautiful girl we can't say enough good things about her she is one of a kind."

She's ours now & she's settling in nicely. She has really had a bad life, being used as a back yard breeder bitch. She lived outdoors and was neglected as far as her medical care went - the vet thinks she had the infection for quite a while.

She's really sweet and quiet, has had little training but is very eager to please.

Rachel the cat is not amused about this addition and so we've had to work to keep the two apart. Rachel is hissing and spitting and today ran at Lucky & took a swipe at her side with a paw - no damage done because Lucky has a thick coat. Lucky just stared at her. I hope that one day soon these two will figure out how to co-exist. They have a lot in common - like their apparent passion for warm places and long naps.

Oh, I'm glad that Lucky has a good home with you. I'm sure the cat will relax soon and perhaps one day they will cuddle up together in the warm places for long naps!

I'm so glad Lucky gets to live up to her name : ) . She's beautiful. Who said cats are the only ones with multiple lives?!

She's beautiful. As I read the description, I regretfully thought, "Oh, we can't take her. I hope she finds a good home."

And she did! I love happy endings.

She's gorgeous! It's nice that you can really see her pedigree just by looking at her. She sounds incredibly sweet; I am certain the cat will take to her, eventually.

Hurray for Lucky!
