As other commentators said, all that was missing was the "let them eat cake" comment. The subtext to that is 'look peasant, just sit down and be quiet and be grateful we've given you a little cot. And don't you get uppity. Because you're trash and I have much nicer hair than yours. And look, I wear my pearls everywhere. Even to scences of catastrophic devastation. That's because I have so much class.'

Hadn't heard this. I'm actually surprised, because she's so much more savvy than this, and much more adept than either her husband or her son at keeping her foot out of her mouth. But shameful nevertheless.
