I wish that campsite stayed open past today. Some of us just can't get there until after Thanksgiving.
for a campground that's SO popular, it's strange it's not open longer.
otoh, we saw significant erosion on the banks & damage to vegetation in the rest of the park so maybe it needs time each year to recover.
