Happy 12th Birthday Hugo

Hugo has had a fabulous year & is 12 today!

It would be weird if I put up a long blog post about my dog's first year anniversary of adoption and didn't put up one for my ds's birthday, woudn't it? Yeah, it would. (yes, last year we drove to the US the day before Hugo's birthday to pick up the blurry english setter)

So, here's a look back at Hugo's year!

Helping with mechanical stuff. This is Hugo working on his grandmother's new Jeep which needed a soft top removed.

Zany humor. Ooooooooh! Look at the gear on that one!

Give the boy a camera and he takes photos of woodwork or himself. I'm not quite sure how he got this particular effect but it is cool, eh?

There was swimming in the rain.

And swimming in nice weather. (he's not really going to squirt the ducks with the water gun)

Making things go BOOM with Backyard Ballistics

Growing things. (that's our greenhouse. All the water jugs are heat sinks. If I had taken the photo in the other direction, you would have seen a TON of plants. As it is, it looks like we grow plastic jugs and fisher price yellow trucks.)

And lots of picking things up to look at them.
