Daisies! Amelia found a bunch on a grassy hill last week & just had to decorate her braid!
Amelia likes to use old magazine pages as origami and over the winter she was experimenting with making her own stationery. The envelopes are just the right size for gift CD's.
Rachel is enjoying the sunshine. She sits in the morning sun like this for ages. After a while though, even she has to move into the shade. I'm a bit worried about moving with her to the house as she has been an indoor apartment cat all her life. She used to go on our balcony in the old condo and the kids took her out on walks on a leash but she really has very limited experience with outdoors. But she also has this tendency to bolt out the front door to explore the building hallways and we're worried that she'll bolt at the house and then get freaked out and do something stupid - like hide under cars. There are 4 doors to the outside in the new house so we'll have to be extra careful. And I think we're going to get her a collar now (to get her used to wearing it - should be fun as I know she hates having collars on) so that just in case she bolts, there's a chance she'll be found and returned....
