Hugo says that if he has to do it, then so does Chocolate Bear. I have to say that Chocolate is less squirmy. But he can't remember his vowels at all.
Yes, I am still homeschooling the children and yes, I do realize I haven't written anything about that in ages, which makes a mockery of the blog description because most of the time I write about everything except homeschooling. BUT, there will be more homeschooling content soon and it will be themed around the phrase "this is damned hard".
I really like Mental Multivitamin. I do. But I don't get the 'it's just not that hard' motto. I always feel slightly dense, stupid and inadequate after leaving M-mv because I find it very hard, which is why I haven't been writing about it. But I will. Soon.

I think it's the darn constant-ness of it all. That, among other things, is what gets to me.
I'm interested to hear your comments though....
She likes me! She really likes me!
Heh, heh, heh.
Did you ever see my "Many folks think..." entry? I try to explain things there. Here's a link:

I wrote, in part:
As anyone who spends any time here at M-mv knows, my mantra is "It's. Just. Not. That. Hard." Few people have ever truly understood that sometimes this can be as good as saying, "It's as hard as sh-- that's been baking in the California sun for twenty days, but I choose to ignore that particular aspect of the journey and focus on all of that less-hard stuff because, because... LIFE IS SHORT! And I'd rather celebrate and sing than spend my life acknowledging some of life's inherent sh--iness, OKAY? Okay."
Heh, heh, heh. Maybe you get it, huh? Yes, tell yourself: It's. Just. Not. That. Hard.
And maybe tomorrow, or Friday, or next Tuesday, it won't be.

Hi, I know what you mean about it being a bit hard sometimes! And tiring. And repetitive. BUT--I have to try not to focus on those aspects of homeschooling because there are just as many good things about this lifestyle!
I am looking forward to reading your comments about this subject!
