
If you're inspired by yarnstorm's la vie en rose to make a cake, and you have butter creaming with sugar in the kitchenaid, turn the machine off before you decide to try the one-handed egg-cracking trick. Otherwise, your options are to throw out a bunch of expensive butter, or spend the next 5 minutes picking out little flecks of (thankfully easy to see) brown organic egg shell.
