Can you say urticaria?
Argh. I have it. Again. It's aka hives.
I had an episode last summer which lasted about a month. I thought it was triggered by eating an insanely large amount of hazelnuts in one day. (It was a really hot day and I didn't feel like eating any real meals, but I had this bowl of wonderful hazelnuts & I ate them all day long.)
I don't know what triggered it this time. It is roughly the same time of the year so it's possible that it's an allergic response to pollen or something like that & that those hazelnuts last year had nothing to do with it. I did eat hazelnuts regularly all year with no problems, though I've been cautious to not pig out on them.
Oh well. Here I am. Itchy arms & neck. Lots of little welts. Cranky.

Hope you get some relief soon! I am sure you are very uncomfortable!
I can't stand odd symptoms of . . . something. The last time I went in the dr. looked at me and said, "I haven't any idea what's the matter with you." I'm keeping daily logs and will go in after a while to see if they enlighten him any.
Whatever is causing your hives, I hope it goes away soon. Good luck.
