Both parties were great and a fab time was had by all.
My now 7 yo dude is very pleased and that's what really matters, after all. He had a nice time playing with his friends and R amused everyone with all kinds of games. The grand finale was dry ice, which is a birthday party tradition at our home. R sets up jugs of it on the table while they kids are having lunch and cake. The kids have a blast blowing the 'smoke' around the table, trying to catch it in their glasses, and pouring it. It's really cool.
I was in stress mode and ate an obscene amount of chocolate caramels, chased by Lime Diet Coke but I dutifully trotted off to my step class last night, so it doesn't matter, does it?
