Travel Dreaming

My current preoccupation is studying travel brochures. For Egypt to be exact.
You see, we’ve been with a DEL for 3 years now. The first year, only 1 child. Then 1 + ½ funding for my kingergartener. And now both as FTE. For a grand total of $4,500 over the 3 years. And while I’m there because I like the money, the fact remains that I homeschooled before the money was available & if the money suddenly dried up, I would continue homeschooling in pretty much the same way as I do now. I don’t really need the money. So the only conclusion to reach from that is that the $4,500 should be lying around in an account somewhere. It’s not. But I’m determined to find it. Because it’s spring and each year I get irritated with the DEL reporting right about now. Tucking money away for a trip to Egypt is really firing up my imagination and adding the needed incentive to keep on jumping through the hoops.
